Opportunities to lead integrated teams shaping the procurement strategy for major projects.
As a Category Manager, you’ll work with a variety of stakeholders, delivering best practice procurement solutions, driving value and building supplier relationships. You will inspire your team to deliver excellent customer service and work collaboratively with the wider team of over 20 procurement professionals.
To develop our technological resilience, the IT Category manager will be responsible for delivering procurement strategies for over £50m of vital IT investment. Our IT Category Manager will create contracts and relationships to support the delivery of major technology investment projects including Agile ways of contracting and contracting cloud based solutions. Our Capital Category Manager will create relationships and contracts to support the delivery of major infrastructure upgrades across a wide range of construction disciplines including civil, M&E, and design. Our Engineering Category Manager will ensure innovative and value adding engineering solutions are implemented across our water and wastewater businesses as we deliver smart networks and harness technology and predictive analytics to deliver cost efficient processes.
