We are seeking two individuals to join the Digital Services team at Welsh Water, working on a varied and high profile digital transformation programme, ultimately improving customer experience.

No two days are the same, with the opportunity to be involved in a programme that challenges the norms, changing the way we do business.

This is a fantastic, year-long opportunity, for two individuals who are eager to learn and progress their skills before embarking on the 3rd year of their degree, or have completed their degree and want to develop their employability in the field.

The successful individual will have the opportunity to work within an engaged and successful team of high performing professionals, and become experts in the fields of web design and systems integration.  Your particular skillset could help deliver meaningful outcomes for customers and set a precedent for the technological future of customer services at Welsh Water.

We are really interested to hear from individuals who have experience in using, or an understanding of:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • .NET
  • JavaScript

If you have knowledge of SQL, JSP and Python… Even better!

As part of this internship, you will be exposed to leading-edge technologies and we will invest in training and certification, examples of these include:

  • Sitecore CMS
  • Mulesoft
  • Sitecore development
  • Search Engine Optimisation
  • Agile working practises
  • Analytics and insight
  • Project management and delivery
  • Testing
  • Security best practise
  • ITIL Service Management

Also, the opportunity to work within the Digital Services team opens up potential opportunities in relation to our fantastic Graduate programme and/or future employment with the business.

As we enter into a competitive market for these skills, we are committed to employing and retaining individuals who embrace our values and are up for the challenge.

In return for your passion and dedication you will be offered a salary of £18,500, 25 days annual leave and access to number of other benefits once you’ve been with us 6 months.  You would need to organise your own travel and accommodation, if required, to fulfil the placement.

The start date is flexible but we would hope that the right individual would be available to start with us July 2019.
